The Fierce & The Dead were formed 13 years ago in London by Kevin Feazey (lead vocals/bass),Matt Stevens (guitar/keys), Steve Cleaton (guitar) and Stuart Marshall (drums). Originally an instrumental band, in recent years Feazey has taken on the role of lead vocalist, adding a new dimension to the band's sound. They mix in elements from psychedelic rock, old metal records, post-rock, progressive rock, broken analogue synths and shoegaze. Their latest album News From The Invisible World has received widespread critical acclaim and streams in the hundreds of thousands. Their favourite description of the band’s sound is Talk Talk playing Black Sabbath songs.
They have a loyal cult following centered around their Facebook group Fierce Army. Their joyful, dynamic UK headline shows sell out months in advance and TFATD have played various festivals in Europe and even a one off US show at legendary prog festival Rosfest. They have released 4 albums, 4 EPs and 3 live albums, either self released or via their friends at Bad Elephant Music. They are currently self releasing via their own label Spencer Park Music.
They will tour the UK in 2024 and headline various festivals.
